A New Year begins
12:07 a.m. - 2006-01-03

No, I have not forgotten this place, although it seems I have forsaken it. I've been writing elsewhere, mostly the old-fashioned way of pen and paper. I haven't felt like sharing, not yet at any rate.

I can't believe another year is gone. I blinked and 2005 was over, yet I still feel the marks on my spirit that the rampage of time left behind.

I am (still) unemployed. My second to last school quarter starts tomorrow and I am simultaneously not ready to start and over-eager to get it done. I will miss the intellectual challenge and my classmates, but I will not miss the time and energy it takes has taken.

I'm traveling to Japan with school in March. I am so looking forward to it. After I return the last quarter will start and I am certain I will be quite anxious by the time it all rolls around.

I hope you had a wonderful New Year's and 2006 brings lots of love, laughter, and joy to you.

I will try to pass by here more often but I realize it is futile to make promises. Forgive me.
