The 2006 Run Down Thanks july28!1. What did you do in 2006 that you’ve never done before? Earned my MBA degree 2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more this year? Not even close, yes - I prefer to think of them as goals though. 3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yep - step-sister-in-law. 4. Did anyone close to you die? I lost 3 loved ones this year (been a rough 4 months) 5. What countries did you visit? Japan! 6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? A boyfriend, close second is a clean house 7. What date from 2006 will remain etched in your memory, and why? December 6 - I had to put my cat to sleep. :( 8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Earning my MBA 9. What was your biggest failure? Not getting in to an exercise routine 10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes - first time I've ever gone to the ER (severe stomach pain/cramps/vomiting - TMI?) 11. What was the best thing you bought? Does my MBA count? I had to pay for it! Another is for my vibrational health program. 12. Whose behavior merited celebration? This is an odd question. I would say all those close to me. 13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Besides myself? Anyone who felt it oh-so-necessary to rubberneck while driving and slowing down to have a reaaaallllyyyy long look at somebody else's business/misery/misfortune AND BLOCK ME FROM ACTUALLY GETTING TO WHERE I'M TRYING TO GO! Curse them! 14. Where did most of your money go? I would have to say my mortgage. 15. What made you really really really excited? Graduating, starting my vib health program, getting a job! 16. What song will forever remind you of 2006? I'm not sure the title of the song, I think it's "Crazy", by Gnarls Barkley. 17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder? Overall, happier, but grieving more for the loss of my 2 grandfathers and my cat. 18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Relaxed 19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Stressed! 20. How will you be spending Christmas? At Mom's. I'll probably do most of the cooking. 21. How will you be spending New Year’s? My dance card is open, any takers?? :) If not, probably at Mom's watching movies. 22. Did you fall in love in 2006? I had several crushes and a couple potential loves, but nothing that was substantiated. 23. How many one-night stands? Two, but are they really one-night stands if you didn't have s*x? 24. What were your favorite TV Programs? I've actually watched almost zero TV this year. I always love all 3 CSI's, Criminal Minds, and NCIS. 25. Do you hate anyone you didn’t hate this time last year? Nope. Waste of time to hate. 26. What was the best book you read? Living with Kundalini 27. What was your greatest musical discovery? The Fray 28. What did you want and get? A job 29. What did you want and not get? A boyfriend 30. What was your favorite film of this year? Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I worked at the Winery; we were totally slammed *and* short-staffed and I never sat down. After that I went to Mom's for dinner and drank 2 bottles of wine. Oh, and I turned 33. 32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Getting exercise and eating better. 33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? Clean, comfy, and classic 34. What kept you sane? That implies I was/am sane... knowing things always get better and work out the way they are meant to 35. What celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Hugh Jackman 36. What political issue stirred you the most? The Iraq war 37. Who did you miss? I already miss Max (my cat). My friend Jennifer. 38. Who was the best new person(s) you met? I actually met a lot of cool people this year; it's too difficult to choose one. 39. Who would you like to get to know better? Shutterbug. 40. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006? Don't go to the ER without insurance (and think twice even if you do and/or you feel like you are dying).
