Time to stop time, please!
12:37 p.m. - 2007-02-16

Ok, someone seriously needs to invent a way to stop time. I'm just *not* keeping up with anything. I haven't checked my one home account in over a week (I used to be online every night for at least a couple hours). Laundry needs to be done, dishes, meal plans, you name it. I'm lucky to remember to brush my teeth in the morning and I'm pretty certain it's only because it is habit that I actually do it. One of those things I don't have to think about in order to do.

I haven't worked 40 hours or less in a week this year with the exception of last week when I missed 2 1/2 days because I was sick with the flu. And I still have a good 10 items on my "To Do" list that need to get done, sooner rather than later.

And what did I do on top of all of this? I'm training to walk a half marathon in June. Yep - me, walking 13.1 miles to support the Leuk_emia & Lympho_ma Society!! I'm excited, nervous, and mostly SORE. I didn't realize just how out of shape I am until I got very sore legs from walking (slowly!) for 30 minutes. Ahh, the good old days when I'd walk 45 min every day at lunch and never even sweat and then a 4-6 mile walk Saturday morning. Apparently the fact that I've done that in the past has no bearing on what I can do today since I've had a 2 (3, 4??) year lag. Sigh. BUT... I am making progress in the 3 weeks and I know I just need to stick with it and I'll be back in that walking shape soon enough. :)

All I know is I could sleep for a very long time. Too bad everything else I need to do would only pile up...
